ALINE FUNK
Co-founder, the Channel Group. Aline has more than 25 years of business management experience beginning with First Chicago Corporation, where she was a vice president of strategic planning, head of finance and administration for Europe, and product manager for investment grade securities. Her last 13 years have been in the seed industry, where her in-depth knowledge of mergers, acquisitions and business expansion programs is an invaluable asset as she helps set the vision for Crow’s parent company the Channel Group.

DON FUNK
Co-founder, the Channel Group; 38-year seed professional. A third-generation seedsman from one of the founding families of the hybrid seed corn industry, Don has headed up Edward J. Funk & Sons/Super Crost Seeds and D.E.F. Seeds. One of the preeminent seedsmen in the industry, Don brings his uncompromising quality standards and extremely deep knowledge of genetics to Channel. Most importantly, by his strong personal example, Don ensures that Channel will always remain a customer-focused company.

DENNIS CLARK
Sales Manager; 24-year seed professional. Dennis joined Crow’s in 1980, and served as both a DSM and RSM before being named sales manager in 1995. His constant attention to the product needs of farmers has allowed him to build strong rapport and solid relationships with Crow’s customers.

CURT McKINLEY
Corn Product Manager; 29-year seed professional. Throughout Curt’s career in the industry, he has earned respect for his integrity, vast product knowledge and adherence to quality. Curt specializes in corn hybrid selection and positioning, product quality and seed enhancements.

RICK BATTY, Ph.D.
Director of Research & Development; 26-year seed professional. Since 1994 Dr. Batty has headed the company’s research and development efforts. Utilizing his wealth of experience in corn breeding research and product development, Dr. Batty strives to develop outstanding Crow’s products with the finest combination of genetics and biotechnology traits.

WAYNE HOENER
Soybean Product Manager; 23-year seed professional. Wayne worked as soybean product manager and director of sales for a major seed competitor prior to joining Crow’s. His passion for the business and his product knowledge have helped Crow’s obtain significant growth.
